Akli Isma
Dr. Akli Isma is an Algerian researcher in robotics. She started working on robotics as a research scientist in “Centre for Development of Advanced Technologies (CDTA)”. She is a member of a “Robotized Production Systems” research team affiliated with “Division of Robotics and Industrial Automation”. She obtained her PhD degree in “Trajectory planning of mobile manipulators in the context of teleintervention” from the “University of Sciences and Technology Houari Boumediene (USTHB)” (Algeria) in 2016. She obtained her habilitation (Habilitation Universitaire) from the same university (USTHB) in 2021. Her research interests are mainly related to mobile manipulation, trajectory and task planning, mission allocation, human/robot interaction, and teleoperation.
Hentout Abdelfetah
Dr. Hentout Abdelfetah is affiliated with the “Centre for Development of Advanced Technologies (CDTA)”. He holds a Ph.D. degree (2012) in "Robotics" from the “University of Sciences and Technology Houari Boumediene (USTHB)”, a Magister degree (2004) in “Industrial informatics” from the “Military Ploytechnic School (EMP)” and an Engineer diploma (2000) in “Informatic systems” from the "National Institute of Computer Science (INI)” (Algeria). His research interests mainly focus on multi-agent systems, control architectures, flexible job-shop planning and scheduling, mobile manipulation, multi-robot systems, optimal path planning, telerobotics, cyber-physical systems and human/robot interaction.
Sara Bouraine
Dr. Sara Bouraine is a research associate in robotics at the “Center for Development of Advanced Technologies (CDTA)”. She is currently the head of “Navigation and Control of Autonomous Mobile Robots (NCRM)” team. She received her Ph.D. in electronics from Electronics institute, Blida University (Algeria) in June 2016. In November 2007, she received the Magister diploma in electronics, Image and Speech option, from Blida University. From December 2009 to May 2010, she was a Ph.D. Fellow at “INRIA Grenoble Rhône-Alpes Research Center” located (France). In September 2021, she received her University Habilitaion from Blida University. Since December 2018, she is the leader of the semi-autonomous wheelchair “FAURSA” socio-economic project. Her research interests focus on autonomous navigation for mobile robots and vehicles with special emphasis on motion safety, motion planning and trajectory optimization problem in dynamic environments, simultaneous localization and mapping, and mobile robot design.
Yacef Fouad
Dr. Fouad Yacef is a researcher in CDTA since 2012. He holds an Engineer diploma from the “University of Mohammed Seddik Benyahia, Jijel (UMSBJ)” (Algeria) in 2009, a Magister degree from the “Military Polytechnic School (EMP)” in 2011, and a PhD degree from UMSBJ (Algeria) in 2018. He is the author of 14 publications in international journals and the author of 16 international conferences. His research interests mainly focus on adaptive control, intelligent control, and predictive control for autonomous flying robots, as well as energy-optimal control and path planning for autonomous robots.
